Between layovers and sightseeing you gotta eat. Well at least I do. I make it a point to map out where I want to eat before I enter a city. It's important to have one tripadvisor reviewed restaurant on my list and the rest, I leave up to chance. With that said here are some of the places that I ate while in Europe. 

If you follow my IG   then you know I enjoy a great meal or two, if you don't hit the link. I'll wait. Ok, now that that's done, let's start with Italy. Italian food is my favorite food. I am a pasta junkie and I do not want help. Every chance I get I am eating eggplant parmesan, baked ziti and my all time favorite lasagna. So, you can only imagine the plans I had for Italy. Yep, I planned to eat, eat some more, see the coliseum and resume eating. My plan was executed flawlessly.  

It was at this very moment that I knew, that what I thought I knew was completely wrong! I love lasagna and I pride myself on the dish and now within the span of 20 minutes I had to come to terms with the fact that I was a lasagna menace. This dish simply melts in your mouth. The texture is smooth and the consistency is rich with flavor. On my death bed this will be my last meal. 

The service was simply below par, and honesty I'd endure the slow service and unattentive waiter for another date with true love.

Ferro E Ghisa is located in Rome near the Cornelia metro and bus stop. It's also relatively close to the Vatican. 

I picked this up while walking from the Vatican. Gelato is smooth, creamy, and simply delicious. Whatever flavor you order will be packed with fresh fruits or nuts. You can't go wrong, but you will forget about ice cream and yogurt. This tasty frozen treat is addictive so be careful. 

Now let's hop over to Barcelona. Warning!! What you will see will cause great drooling, mind wandering, and overwhelming lust. Click through the photos for each respective's place website.
